Szekely's books on the Essenes not only acquaint the reader with the profound teaching and practices of this ancient spiritual sect - they also provides principles, teachings and practices that can uplift and help transform the spiritual seeker today. Story wise it is very well written and will always leave you wanting more. There is a touch of magic, a bit of nature lore, some more Ojibwe, and two very calm and uplifting encounters with the fantastic.
