The first 150 pages, narrated by Jean, describe the family's day-to-day duties, home-schooling the kids and how each one adapted to the journey, as she keeps coming back to the narrative's singular event--the wreck of the Emerald Jane on a reef in the middle of the night and the boat's giant mast pinning John's leg underneath. I knew this was the right book for me when I read that he had been the sort of person who would lose his temper, then deeply regret it. Love the pictures like how they explain the positions , great lil book for male and female. I first bought this book so I could cut back drinking, but the 30 days changed my life and now I am on the path to thriving in sobriety.
