It would have been very hard for the author to have resolved all of the subplots in one book and done them all justice. Thank you!!!. The severed head turns out to be Dmitri’s tragic and traumatic past reaching out to him over the centuries. Recommended by my therapist (I had never seen a mental health professional before, either), the book is clear, complete, simple, and helpful. I can't open the last 2 books bought in this series.
