It was PURE Sherri from cover to cover. In April, 1944, everything was lost in the allied bombing of Munich. The pencils keep the hands steady. This book is fantastic. I had one investor/client/friend who was very generous with good advice, and he taught me a great deal as well. I liked it a lot, but there some problems.
The author admits to changing history, culture and many things of the time period to suit her story. For a scholarly feast try Hatshepsut from Queen to Pharoah.. Nahin's writing style is good, with quite a few gossipy details; the book is nicely illustrated, and has been well proof-read (except that André-Marie Ampère is always shorn of all accents). The panic attacks got so bad that I had trouble going to and being at work, going out for entertainment, and at various other times including when I was at home.
